Since coming to this country from Tokyo, I've always been interested in the power of art to express what is important when I don't have the words to do so. I’ve been inspired by primary shapes such as spirals because they represent the life force, the mother shape.” Creating and sharing fine art is important for me in this inner search. “My focus has been on creating art that inspires a deeper sense of happiness and expresses my own desire to create art that can heal”.

I also find myself attracted to exploring and expressing the beauty of the natural world that I have found in my new home of LA. I fell in love with the lotus gardens of Echo Park and the hills of Griffith park. both of these places have had a profound influence on my work over the last few years.
