The Silver Lake Art Collective

A Reservoir of Artistic Diversity in Los Angeles

Diana Cheng
I was blessed to have two of the greatest teachers: Sister Corita Kent of Immaculate Heart College, Hollywood, a world-renowned Serigraph artist whom I studied with, and Mr. Tony Duguette, a famous stage designer whom I worked for. Both taught me to explore, create and imagine, and, best of all, to be confident.

I've had the privilege of many one-woman exhibitions throughout California, including the Museum of Modern Arts, Carmel, the University of the Pacific, Stockton, the Pacificulture Museum, Pasadena, and the California Museum of Science and Industry in Los Angeles. I've also exhibited in Oregon, Texas, and Taipei, Taiwan. I have designed stationary, fabric, murals, a billboard for the City of Los Angeles, and have successfully produced over a thousand prints.

Most recently, I have exhibited my work at the Silverlake Senior Center, and as part of the Silverlake Art Collective I have also exhibited at the Citibank Art Space Gallery, Keystone Gallery, and the annual Silverlake Open Studio Tours
